All these toys are made by hand. Because of the small parts, the little creatures are not recommended for children under the age of three (or anyone else who would like to put them in their mouths). I use recycled super soft sweaters, and brand new polyester filling. I also use safety eyes, but still wouldn't want a dog or child chewing on them for fear of swallowing the small parts.
